Hi, I’m Orchid.
I’m an Afro-Latina creative from NYC with Dominican roots and a love for ideas that grow. I started in animation and somehow ended up mixing storytelling, strategy, design, and the occasional line of code.

When I’m not making things, I’m probably watching cartoons, roller skating, or hanging out with animals. I like making work that makes people stop, think, and hopefully smile.

So, why Helix Orchid? Orchids are notoriously hard to grow, but give them the right environment, patience, and care, and they thrive. I think ideas work the same way. The orchid is resilience, the helix is evolution, and my work lives somewhere in between.
